So, I don’t know if this is something new coming up with the updates, but…
When analyzing Intro’s, you only have to analyze an episode once.
Then the Intro is saved (till you change something in the Library structure).
But, when analyzing End-Credits for an episode, the End-Credits are not saved in the background like the Intro’s.
When analyzing the same episode another time, the analyzing for the End-Credits starts again and it takes just as long as the first time.
So what’s the difference between the way of analyzing between the Intro and the End-Credits?
I’d love to see that when you do a new analyze for one episode, the Intro as well the End-Credits analyzing isn’t starting again, since there is nothing changed in the content itself.
Could be an indication for something wrong with the file. It might even be a glitch that’s not popping up when playing the file but something throwing off the analysis.
Can you try muxing the tracks into a new container to check this? e.g. using MKVToolNix and then replacing the original file?
But it’s every episode of all series, unfortunately.
All the files are MP4 because it’s the default and completed extension for Plex to recognize all the metadata of the file. I don’t use MKV’s or anything else for that specific reason.
Again, it works perfectly for the Intro Analyzing, but not for the Credits.
This is appearing with one of the latest updates, maybe the Server update itself.
Before, no issues.
