Any update?
I have this same issue, it’s really annoying as I start playing music in my car from my driveway while on wifi then as soon as the first song is finished the app just stalls out trying to play the next song. I have to kill the currently playing and restart it to get it to start playing again on lte.
We have an open bug report for this and it will be investigated as soon as possible. Last time someone looked at it they had problems reproducing it which makes it difficult.
I’ll give the issue a bump.
Thanks Sam.
If it helps with reproducing the issue, begin a stream on wifi, and then roam out of range. The crash is not immediate (presumably it occurs when the buffer runs out?), but is pretty reliable. I’m having this happen 10+ times daily. I walked 3 blocks last night and experienced 5 crashes in as many minutes, likely because I left my friends place on wifi, and roamed past two blocks of houses with the public “xfinity wifi” network broadcasting from their comcast router, so my phone was switching between LTE and these networks pretty quickly.
I have more logs full of crashes if that’s helpful.
Still crashariffic…
Any updates? This is still happening with the newest version, unfortunately.
You mean it’s still broken in 7.6? If so can you provide new logs please, because we thought we had fixed it.
Thanks for your help.
Yup, still a problem. I’ll generate a new set of logs after the next crash.
I am still having this same issue whenever I start playing music on wifi and then leave the wifi it just sits there on the next song.
@ManuelPG I messaged you a link to my logs on google drive
Really sorry @themana, I somehow missed your DM. Is this still a problem in v7.9 of the app? We’ve released a new audio player stack since you originally reported the issue…
Yes, it’s still a huge problem. I experience at least 5 crashes every day, sometimes as many as a dozen. I’ve provided logs dozens of times to samfromplex and jesusmc.
There are also a number of bugs: sleep timer never works, time remaining is almost never accurate, and more.

I have the link you posted above but it’s pretty old, can you provide new logs using the latest version of the app? In the meantime I’ll try the steps you decribed (“begin a stream on wifi, and then roam out of range”) and see if I can make the app crash.
sleep timer never works
I think this is being looked into already, thanks for the heads up.
@ManuelPG I commented at you in a message thread called Logs - there’s plenty of fresh logs there for you - two sets from this morning alone. Please let me know if you can’t find that.
Yes, I was informed today the sleep timer bug was just fixed, so hopefully it works in the next release.
As far as the steps I posted, I’ve been able to reproduce on LTE alone, never roaming outside of network coverage, so that may be a red herring.
The one time I looked at the text of the logs myself, just using ctrl-f to look for the word “error”, I saw hundreds of XML errors - is that not related to anything?
