Android app crashes when casting Live TV to Chromecast

I’ve recently set up Live TV & DVR with an HDHomerun Connect Quatro and antenna. It works great on the web app, playing in the Android app, and the Vizio app preview. However, I have two TVs on which I’d like to play Live TV via Chromecast, and when I attempt to cast from my Android phone to a Chromecast, the mobile app often immediately crashes and the TV either fails to load (eternal loading screen) or shows a “Sorry!” message.

I have had some luck getting it to play by first tuning to a station on my phone and then casting, but I cannot change channels without crashing. I’ve never been able to start casting first and then tune to a channel without crashing.

Bump.

I have had the same issue for over a month. I’m using the Beta build on a OnePlus 6t, but have tried going back to the public release with the same issue.

Hello, I’ve tried the last update of the app available on Google Play but it is the same. The previous version was working fine from my side.

Also have this issue and I make frequent reports of it when the crash happens using the Android interface. I’m glad to see it’s being tracked internally. I can add that this happens on multiple Android devices of different types and versions and with multiple Chromecasts, but works in iOS.
