I’m able to connect to Chromecast and navigate on the mobile app but after tapping play on Live TV channels the app crash.
No issue with the previous version of the app. I’ve already tried to reboot Chromecast and Plex Server installed on Synology but without success.

Thanks for letting us know about the issue. I would like to clarify a piece of information. When you say Live TV channels, is that coming from your own tuner or is it the Plex provided ones?
Hello, when I say Plex Live TV and DVR I mean the live TV coming from my hd home run quattro.

The fix will be available in incoming v8.5, which should be availble for everyone in 2 weeks (currently in beta process, but the fix isn’t there yet).

Coming from Chromecast Live TV Channel Crashes Android App and subscribing here to hopefully track progress.
Yesterday we submitted a new 8.5 beta that should have fixed the issue. It’d be nice if you can take a look to it and check if it fixes the crashes for you.
