Everything is in the title, I can’t stream on a Chromcast (2) from my Android app, looks like this “feature” is buggy since 2023, and going.
Right? Or am I doing something wrong?

I’ve never had issues streaming to my chromecast from an android phone so it’s definitely not a standard issue.
Not a problem on the old app version (10.xx.yy). On the new experience app I also often have problems with Chromecast (not finding devices, playback not starting, controller disconnects).
Additionally the new experience apps are still missing a lot of features when chromecasting.

Didn’t try for a long time, but it used to work, sure. Now when I cast from phone, the chromcast stays on the plex splash screen :_(
I’ll try mine today to verify. My server is up to date so if it’s all Chromecast it shouldn’t work.
Casting to Chromecast from a Shield running PMS is very unreliable these days. It is fine streaming to Roku.
