Android App doesn't remember last position of audio file

I’m running Version 1.29.0.6244 and I have that library to remember last position. On desktop this works, mostly. On Android it often crashes the application or resets the progress of the audio track to 0.

I’m running android version

On Google Pixel 6 pro with 40% of free space.

Any ideas for fixing this feature?

when exactly does it happen? when you start the track again, get to x minutes into track, stopping playback or when? Just want to try to reproduce

Usually on any audio over 30 minutes, only audio over 30 minutes I have are mp3. I’ve noticed it reset when audio has progressed passed 5-10 + minutes. When I minimize the app to the home screen or another application, or even when my device goes to sleep.

I’ve noticed it over WiFi and data both.

I took a screen recording of me pausing the audio, then switching to the home screen, going back to the application.

But it won’t let me upload…

This audio is at 5:31:30 (with 1:02:40 left) when I pause in the Plex app to go to the home screen. Then go back to Plex and play the audio again it resets to 00:00:00.
