the feature that the last playback position is saved works very well for TV shows but does not at all for audiobooks (categorized as music) where it is essential.
The position is saved when the app is minimized but lost as soon as the app is closed or any other media is played.
Currently plex is basically unusable for audiobooks.
I would really love to see the same kind of position tracking for music and audiobooks as it is implemented for TV shows. A dedicated tracker for each album and an overview of each audiobook play position on the “home” or “recommended” page.
Basically the “continue watching” feature but changed to “continue listening” on music data.

I have selected the “store track progress” option in the library settings but this does not seem to have any effect for me.
