I use the Android Plex app to listen to my audio collection in my car. My car does not have Android auto, nor do I plan to add Android auto to the car. Android auto has recently (last year I think) decided to stop supporting people like me, you cannot use the app without a car connected. So when I use plex in my car I simply stream Bluetooth audio.
The problem is my phone screen keeps turning off. I like my screen to automatically turn off after a few minutes and lock, for security reasons, but in the car I would prefer it on to see what’s playing or change songs.
Can the Plex app, like Google Maps and other similar apps, keep the screen on while open? I can’t seem to find a setting for this, but it seems like a really obvious setting that should exist.
