Android app not showing collections or hiding items

On the android app when browsing your movie or tv library collection preferences are ignored. So collections are never shown (including ones set to show in the server) and all films are always shown (including ones with “hide items in this collection” selected).

This is a known issue with the current mobile app.

Plex Test Flight: media now no longer adhering to the "hide items which are in collections"

Server Version#: 1.43.0.10492 (Stable) Player Version#: 2026.5.0 (1635) In the latest Plex test flight version, 2026.5.0 (1635), it no longer appears to have both movies/shows and collections under their respective areas. For example, in the movie section there would be a single movie and, if there were 2 or more of the same, a collection that would all all be on the same page without changing the view.
