We managed to break communications with shared servers a few updates back. It went unnoticed until now, but nuVue 1.4.7 has been pushed to the Play Store to address it. If you share someone else's libraries, you'll definitely want this update.

Sending a message to the owner is certainly doable. It would also be useful to let a server owner know if you encountered any playback problems. I was originally intending on offering the ability to send messages to shared users plus the ability to forward notifications to non-nuVue users as a premium feature. Maybe I'll have to consider adding the messaging into the base app and just making the notification forwarding an in-app-purchase. Good suggestion, though.

@GShlomi, as of right now, there are no plans for nuVue on iOS. I have nothing against Apple, but there's only one of me working on nuVue and I don't have any experience with iOS nor the hardware to develop for it. Sorry.

I am definitely open to suggestions on how to make the feature better. Right now it also only sends a single email for all media, but perhaps it should have a grouping just like the app notifications do.
Maybe if you can let us use variables. like %servername%, %username%, %libraryname% That way we can customize it to our own liking.

Yes, I jumped the gun on the announcement before Google actually got it live in the Play Store. Hopefully it won't take any longer than a normal release, considering it is a new app. It's been uploaded, so it's just a matter of time. Thanks.
So Google decided to deny the addition of nuVue Shared for "Violation of the intellectual property and impersonation or deceptive behavior provisions of the Content Policy". I can only assume they are referring to the screen shots with movie and TV posters and fan art, but I have contacted them for further clarification, as the listings for both Plex and Media Browser also contain such content. Hopefully we can come to an understanding and get this resolved ASAP.
