I have a large music library >6000 the android application will not sync that many items it just gets stuck and heats my phone up.
I split the library into playlists and the items then synced (3000 in one playlist with a number of reloads and stalls), however, if I load the phone part of the server it takes 2mins+ until the playlist show up and until that point I get a toast message stating “This directory appears to be empty”. This happens every time I press the top drop down menu, as if it is rescanning the phone content everytime, this doesn’t seem right.
Finally, within the library I can see artists and albums but not tracks in the same library. The tracks section displays “No items to display”, however the artist shows content.
All of these things added up make for a poor experience on my phone. Can anyone help fix any of these issues?
