Android app unable to remote control tv app

Mobile Version: 2025.20.0 (966828433)

Before the “new” mobile app I was able to remote control the tv app with my mobile app by pressing the “cast” button as long as the tv app was already running. Now even though that condition is met, the mobile app will not show the tv app as a target to play on.

Nothing I have tried to do will make it work. The web app will still properly show the target.

I really hope the app didnt just inexplicably remove this feature because that alone would get me to switch.
