With PLEX is possibile to use Smartphone to send film from server to TV?

Hi all,
i’m newer in Plex world.
What i’m searching is a way to stream content from media server ( Plex in this case ) to TV controlling the process with a Smartpone.
Currently i’m able to play film on Samsung TV with the specific Plex App. So i’m using the television remote control to choose the film, play, pause ecc…
Instead what i want is to use a Tablet or a Smartphone to control the process ( so … choose film, create playlist, play, pause ecc… ):

I’ve tried the Andoid Plex application on my Smartphone but i wasn’t able to do that ( demo version ). When i click on the “connect to” button, only the chrome browser of the media server is shown. The TV is missing.
So … whit this Android app i’m able to play film on the phone, controll the media server … BUT not controll what is playing on the TV.

Anyone knows is this is possibile with Plex ( also with a pay version) to do that? I’m doing something wrong, or this feature is not supported?

This can solve my problem :slight_smile:
But, just to understand well how Plex works, this is the unique solution?

I’ve readed this in the documentation:

“Remote Control”
Use the Plex app on your phone or tablet to control any Plex player."

So, if i understand well, also the Plex player installed in the TV. This can be enough to controll remoltely with a phone? How it works?
