i signed for the beta program for android tv and received the confirmation mail.
The link in the mail leads me to https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.plexapp.android and then i receive a message like:
App not available for this account
Your account is not currently eligible to participate in the trial program for this app.
This was the account i provided in my request.
Can someone help? Is there a delay maybe?
Just got the same email except mine works fine. Check to make sure you’re signed in with the correct email address/Google account, the same one you submitted for the beta.

I believe the beta is for Plex Pass subscribers?
I have a Plex pass for the android account connected to the server I own. I have a separate account for the one connected to my Nvidia Shield’s that does not have a plex pass associated (the one logged into this forum from). I’m not sure how to receive beta access on the client side other than someone from Plex manually linking my two accounts on the backend.
I guess I should have signed up for beta access and the forums with my server’s associated acct that has the plex pass. Oh well-- I can still manually download the beta apk’s and sideload.
You do not need a Plex Pass to join the Beta.

I think something happened with this latest round of invites. I am investigating.
Might be helpful, but looking back on when I filled the Google form out last week to request beta access I’m pretty sure I provided my proper Google account I use on my Shield…along with the other email linked to my Plex account first.
I think the email I listed as my Google Play Store account might have been ignored and my Plex email was used instead across the board.
I could be way off base, but just a theory if what might have happened.

It worked now, just had to be patient for 1 day. Didn’t do anything.
There was a problem on our end. Should be fixed now for everyone having this issue. Please let me know if you still can’t get the beta.
Just joined the beta and got the confirmation email. Same issue as above…
Trying out the beta in hopes that it stops the endless crashing on my device whenever it tries to direct play x265 files…
