[Android] Bug Report: Persistent "Cancelling" State for Downloads

A download task has entered a “cancelling” state and remains stuck there indefinitely. This state prevents the user from initiating or managing other downloads. Standard troubleshooting steps, including clearing the application cache and restarting the application, have failed to resolve the issue.

The only workaround is to prevent communications with the server by going offline and only then the “cancelling” operation will complete.

Regardless of the workaround for the stucked state, the app remains very sluggish and eventually barely responsive when connected to the server while having a fair amount of downloaded movies/shows. The logs are just filled with :
