Android (Chromebook) version totally broken

Anyone else having problems with the latest version on Chromebook Android? We’d previously been able to download content (for kids to watch offline on a car trip) and it appeared in the library (as non-greyed-out content, non-downloaded stuff being greyed out), could click and watch just like when you are online. Update to the latest version (and tried uninstalling and reinstalling), now it errors out and asks you go to a “Downloads” list, which is a non-grouped list of individual video files that had been downloaded. There is an ellipsis (…) next to each file, but nothing happens when you click it. Clicking the file does nothing, right-clicking does bring up the option to “Play”, but it just goes to a blank screen and nothing happens. In general, the app is now slow, buggy, non-responsive. It also says it was designed for phones, and won’t display right on my laptop screen. Why have we moved backwards in functionality? Was completely non-confusing and working a year ago (last time we took a road trip).

Server Version#: Latest (Windows 64)
Player Version#: Latest (Android)

Edit: It looks like this version is flagged as “mobile” Android. Doesn’t appear to be a Chromebook version. The old version worked flawlessly - is it possible to download that one?
