Error when downloading optimized versions

Wondering if anyone else has had the problem (and found a fix for) the fact that there is an immediate error when downloading optimized versions of files from the server to an android client? It says “There was an error when downloading this file.” for that file in the downloads tab.

I tried to start making optimized versions because downloads would take a long time and the downloaded files would often give an error (specifically “an error occured while attempting to play this video”). It’s frustrating that the downloads feature isn’t working well.

Hi, I just came across this issue as well. Trying to download a show or just an episode from a pre optimized show on the server and download fails immediatly. But removing the optimized version from the server, or just choosing another show that was never optimized and the download starts and finishes correctly.
