Android Client - Bluetooth Playback when streaming very low quality

Android Client Version 5.10.1.264 on LG Nexus 5x:

ISSUE: Since the update to add stream quality to the client, when streaming via mobile internet, song quality is very poor (noticeably poor). Occurs when transcoding both FLAC and MP3 files, and occurs regardless of stream quality (192, 320 kbps sounds equally poor). However, playback of SYNCED files (even songs transcoded from FLAC to 320 kbps) sounds perfectly fine - the only issue is when streaming and playback via Bluetooth. Issue is not noticeable or present when connected via headphones to my phone nor via speakers - only present on Bluetooth.

Can confirm it’s not the source quality either, as I tested on a variety of songs. And can confirm it’s not a phone problem.

EXPECTED: Sound quality to sound identical to synced/saved files at the same bit rate.

Please let me know what other info might be necessary! Excited to get this bug squashed.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Connect pair of bluetooth headphones/car bluetooth to Android device
  2. Play back a non-synced song at either original quality or transcoded (issue is present either way) - note lower quality.
  3. Play identical song, but synced. Any quality will due - the issue will be obvious.

TO CONFIRM IT’S BLUETOOTH ONLY
4) Replicate steps, but with 3.5mm headphones connected.

I think I posted this in the wrong place - moved here. Sorry about this!
