Currently, Plex will stream the entire lossless FLAC file to Android when not syncing. I keep my library in as high quality as possible, so I have hundreds of gigabytes of 24bit FLAC files that are individually over 100MB each; this is obviously impractical to stream over a mobile data connection. Can we have options to choose the stream quality separate from the sync quality, so I can listen to 320Kbps or less over data, and still have access to the full quality lossless file when streaming over WiFi? The last reference I’ve found to this feature was a post over two years ago, without any other news since.
