I recently started using a Galaxy tab a8 for Plex. The problem is when I try to play back download content it gives me the error:
An error has occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection and try again.
The video is encoded with HEVC, audio is vorbis, app version is 9.7.0.34811
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi Machinemann. I’ve had this same trouble. When I cancel or delete the file and re-download, sometimes it will work. I use MP4 H.264 for video and AAC for audio though, so I’m not sure if that might matter.
I’m guessing there might be some bugs in the download coding. For me, certain episodes of TV shows will work and a few others in the same series will give errors. I delete and re-download all the episodes, and the episodes that didn’t work before will work now, but other episodes that were previously fine will now give the error message.
