Cant download to Tablet

Player Version#:9.5.0.33736

I can watch content from my Linux Plex Server on my Android Galaxy tabS7, and can download content to a Android phone.

But when i try and download to my Android Galaxy tabS7 it wont download and says “there was an error downloading to device”

I used to use the download feature a lot, but hasnt worked for a while now. Any ideas please.

this is a relatively old version. can that tablet not update any more?

would likely need to see the android logs to see what caused the error.

I had tried upgrading but noticed on Play store new version is 9.7.0.34811, so uninstalled and loaded new version.

But fault is still the same.

I have downloaded the logs, but there are 8 files, two of which are .log extensions. Is it these two that you need or all 8? OR just the zip file?

Should probably add that it is not only the file mentioned in the message that wont download it is any Film or TV Show stored on the server that I cant download to this device.

As mentioned download is ok to Android phone.

Is this episode something you recorded with DVR?

it is possible to get your server logs as well.

All the episodes are downloaded files, this is an .mkv file.

Will send server log.

thanks for logs. I am having trouble figuring out the cause of error so asked someone else to look at them. but they may not be able to look today.
