Ever since the most recent update I haven’t been able to find the episode skip button, just the jump 30 seconds.
The player UI was changed in that beta version. Hit the down arrow below scrub bar to see remaining episodes in queue to select the next episode. (chapters will also be there if they exist)
Will they be coming back to the UI?

Please bring back the episode skip buttons on iOS (iPhone/iPad).
Having to open the queue just to go to the next episode is a step backwards in usability.
Yes, please bring this feature back. I often use Plex to fall asleep and I’m glad when I can simply skip to the next episode.
Yes me too. Came here to the forum today for the express purpose of finding out where the button went. I’ll used the episode skip button every day. You removed a feature that people use. Going down to the bottom and choosing the episode is not as convenient as just hitting a button to go next.
+1 I binge a lot of shows and not having the episode skip buttons is a huge step backwards.
My wife uses Plex on mobile far more often than I do and says that she used that button constantly and taking it away was a massive step backwards in UI design and basic functionality. Bring it back or make it a setting that can be changed for those who prefer it.
The new player UI might make sense for movies and small screens but for tv shows/playlists, the previous/next episode buttons are hugely helpful and on larger screen devices like tablets, I can’t see why the buttons had to be lost.
Would love to see it come back for tablets/tv shows/playlists or at least a client side option to change it to the old style UI.

Really terrible change. I want to press one single button to go to the next episode. Requiring me to open a menu, scroll down, and then select an episode (which doesn’t even show up as the first option) is so incredibly BAD.
dumbest change I’ve ever seen. I’m pretty sure that Plex is just using AI to code ■■■■ these days.
Why would you remove the next episode button? Do the devs working on this app even use it?
It is back in the latest beta release.
It’s back but now they’ve removed the time skip. Why can’t we have both?
