New design is missing next button in player mode and browse mode

you guys are making it hard to move to next and previous episodes when you’re watching or if you’re browsing in on an episode it would be nice to get to next episode without having to press back

Bring up the on screen controls and scroll down. You’ll see the play queue and can select an episode from there.

That’s far less convenient than a next button, which we’ve always had. Braindead decision to remove it, but that’s the general theme around here recently.

The app on ipad/phone just keeps getting worse and worse… it’s mind boggling. What in tarnation would inspire a ui designer to remove basic functionality like the “next episode” button? I mean I was upset when the space bar stopped functioning on Magic Keyboard to pause/play, but this is just next level bad design.

This change is just another terrible ux change. There was nothing wrong with a next or back button, it’s standard on so so many players for over a decade for a reason. I swear these devs probably like windows 11.

Having to now click to get the ui up, then click the tiny down arrow to bring up the “play queue” drawer, which is like 1mm away from the time bar, so it’s very easy to accidentally just skip to the middle of the video instead. If I do hit the arrow, then I have to discern which file I’m on, so I can click the next in line. It’s not hard, but it takes several additional steps and you actually have to pay a lot more attention, and that’s clearly more tedious. Had the play queue drawer been simply an addition I’d say awesome, but removing the simple navigation buttons just proves once again you guys are clueless about how to actually make things better.

I’ve been a premium user for 8 years, and I can’t think of a single change in the last 4 that I appreciate. Do better

The Previous/Next buttons are available in 2026.8.0

Thank you for bringing back this basic core function. Appreciated.
