Android resume audiobook after app restart

So after I’ve been listening I pause it and then go off to do something else and it remembers my position; I do so much in the background android closes Plex. I open Plex up and it’s remembered I was listening to my book and the position hurrah but then I press play and it starts from the beginning even though it looks like it should resume. Could this be looked at please? I’ve put a video of it happening here

The exact same problem here. It is really annoying!

My workaround is closing the track (x on the right bottom) and restarting from the list.
