Android tv home channels missing posters

Hi all,

I’ve been scouring the plex forums and reddit to figure out why half the plex posters in the android tv recommendation strip are missing.

When I’m in the Plex app, the posters, artwork etc are all there. Back on the android tv home screen, the recommendation strip is always missing a handful of posters.

Server Version#: 1.27.0.5889
Player Version#: 9.4.0.33105
2017 nvidia shield

Any ideas on where I can start troubleshooting? It’s been driving me nuts for months.

I’ve had this happen on a Fire Cube before.

Go into the settings on the Nvidia shield…clear cache…force stop Plex app.

If that doesn’t work uninstall the Plex app on the Nvidia and reinstall it.

I don’t know what you’ve tried so far but that was my solution.

This happens all the time for me too (Android tv/boxes). Restarting the device usually solves it.
