My setup:
- Synology DS423+ with 2.5Gb USB dongle, running server version 1.43.4.10903
- Sony Bravia 8 with 1Gb USB dongle
I’ve noticed that video in the Plex app on my TV is not looking particularly smooth. The file size or the connection type (wired vs wireless) doesn’t seem to make a difference. The same 30gb files will play smoothly over SMB in Kodi and VLC.
I’d love to keep using Plex for all my locally stored video’s so looking for advice!
