My setup is pretty simple: Plex (both player and server) is installed on my Android TV device. For the first ~1 year of ownership, I had no issues with Plex. But for the last several months, the Plex server crashes, usually, about every 20 minutes of playback. I really only watch movies on Plex, so these crashes are occurring during movie playback. The movies sit on an external hard drive that’s attached to the NVIDIA shield via USB.
I’ve attached some log dumps. All were taken in a 1-2 hour span during which there were several crashes. The dumps were usually taken immediately after a crash. The Android TV OS is installed on my NVIDIA Shield, in case the hardware might have an effect.
