When I do a generic search in.plex via Android tv client (8.28.0.30077) I get results from unpinned sources like the Plex Movie and TV library. The results show right next to items in my own library which is very misleading.
I don’t want to see results from unpinned sources. They are unpinned for a reason.
Looks like this is default behavior for Roku and Android mobile now also. Android TV client is the worst because there is no obvious designation between what is in my library and what is in the free ad supported one.
A shared user called me this morning asking why my movies have ads now. They searched for a movie and played it not realizing it was in the Plex free section.
If this is a design choice by Plex at least make it EXTREMELY obvious what sources you are showing in the search results.
