So since today at around 4pm I haven’t been able to stream any media on my Sony Android TV everything worked fine in the morning no problems and things also works fine on iPhone and Chrome on PC, the only solution I found was restarting the whole TV everytime it does so idk if this is a bug on Plex side or if it’s something related to android tv(Sony)? Any help would be appreciated on how to prevent this or how to fix it so it won’t happen again?
I had the same thing happen to me. This new player is horrible, it’s very hit & miss in regards to working correctly. I have gotten so frustrated that I started using MrMC video player again. Lucky for me I purchased it a couple of years ago when the Plex Android TV player being transitioned to a new UI.
Everytime the Plex Android TV player goes through a major change, it ends up unusable for a few months.
