Android TV won't play Portrait IOS videos

Hi, I’m having an issue with my Sony X950H using Plex. The issue is specific to videos shot on Iphones in portrait orientation. Plex flips the orientation 90 degrees on playback making it unwatchable. These videos play fine on PCs and other smart TVs. Anyone have any idea what’s going on, have a fix?
