I’ve got what I assume is a double_NAT error, but can’t seem to locate the culprit. My Plex Server is located on a Synology 920+ NAS. It is connected to a Deco mesh network. Everything has been working for months but I recently upgraded from DSL to fiber and I’m pretty sure this is where my problem lies. The new fiber optics modem/router is a HUMAX Model Number BGW320-500. I have IP Passthrough set to passthrough and the MAC address set to my mesh main router, just as before. Then I have the firewall port forwarding set to 32400, just as before. Yet, it drops out frequently. The new modem is the stranger in the camp, so I suspect that’s where the problem lies, but I’ll be danged if I can find it. Does anyone have any experience with this modem in Passthrough mode?

Need info!

I just got off chat with AT&T and I believe he found my problem (my bad). I made the mistake of believing the tech who did the install of my fiber optics when he told me the new modem would be set up automatically the same as the old DSL modem. Wrong! It still has the wifi enabled! I need some hours now to verify no more problems, but I believe that was my double-NAT problem.
