Double NAT Issues With AT&T Fiber

Server Version#: 1.21.1.3830
Player Version#: N/A

I am having an issue with AT&T Fiber and a Double NAT issue; I have already set the modem in bridge mode and done the required port forwarding to two servers, but I keep loosing the connection.

Internal IP is: 10.100.1.136

External IP: 71.XXX.XX.XXX

The servers worked great when I was using a different service provider. What do I need to tell AT&T?

Let me know if you need more information.

I have T-Mobile Home Internet now, and I’m experiencing a similar issue. Plex keeps showing an error message, indicating that double-NAT is still a problem, but I’ve done everything to address that as far as I can tell.

Good luck, and hopefully AT&T can give you some actionable intel.

So AT&T was no help at all, spent like 6 hours total on the phone.

It ends up that you just need to choose a random port number way out of the Plex default of 32400.

Right now I am using 16800 range, give that a try and set up all the port forwarding and it might work.

Let me know if it works for you!

Oddly enough, my server has been available from remote access, having done nothing to change the configuration. The remote access setting still says that my server is not available, but I can stream music from both Android and Windows at full quality. I’m afraid to change anything, and risk making it inaccessible again.

When I do lose access again, I’ll try your solution and see if I can get it configured like that. Unfortunate that AT&T didn’t help you out, but at least you did find a solution that works. Thanks for updating the thread with the info!
