Like Windows??? To maintain 3 TVs with a Plex server has consumer so much of my time, that if I work OT, it would have paid for 3 hours with the cable company

Sounds like you’re doing it wrong…
From your posts it seems like you have issues with the DVR function, but I haven’t seen any other posts about any other problems. Is that correct?
Yes, sometimes when I change a channel, I get the message about, “an error has occurred, please try again later” Yet, I will also receive a message that the show did not record due to an error, but in fact, it did record. Also, on the other TVs, the show played perfectly.
Now, I have uninstaled and reinstalled Plex…same problem
Also, it seems to sometimes have a problem with tuning a channel…The circle spins and spins…until I reboot EVEWRYTHING
Close Plex Server, wait one minute, start Plex Server, wait two minutes. Then, use a client that supports Live TV to access the Plex Server and try to change a channel. After the error message, wait one minute, then go to the Plex web app and download the Plex Server logs. Post them here for review.
