Any changes to Channels API with 9.16 version? Streaming not working

My nextpvr channel with this update has stopped working.

I can’t see any errors int he plex media server log by a call for art work (that wont exist). But then an error is presented on the screen (using crhome browser from in the local network).

Is it possible throwing a problem as there’s no art work, so it’s not even trying to stream? It was working fine in 9.15.3

I lok at this further, inthe plex server log, I can see it try to start transcode…but then it gives a stop. I can’t see any reason why.

Anything? I know of 3 users of the channel with the same problem. One sees an error in the plex log, myself, I just see a stop command.

Have you tried contacting the developer of that channel? The log you posted shows that the video that is requested doesn’t have any audio, so the channel is stopping because it doesn’t know what to do. I don’t know if the problem is in the channel requesting the wrong thing or PMS nor handling the error correctly, but best to let the developer know and let them contact Plex if a fix is needed.

I have figured it and and this I have it solved now with help from zynine. Apparently in .9.16 if a channel does not explicitly set the number of audio channels it doesn’t work.

Did you try that version I posted at nextpvr? I had it working for me…unless I was using IOS on my lan, then for some reason it doesn’t go. Other clients were fine, and IOS via WAN was working. Might be a different issue.
