Any future support for Hardware decoding from AMD to Linux?

Really, why on Windows works and on Linux don’t? It’s a really interesting feature… any future support expected?

Thanks for the information @FordGuy61. Let’s pray that the Team see how interesting is to have support for HW acceleration on Linux, a lot of people use Ubuntu Server or similar’s as multimedia devices to our home.
