Any method to sort music by First Last rather than Last, First aside from using Sort Artist?

I have a pretty large music library which I prefer to have sorted like the following:

Agalloch
Armin Van Buuren
Blümchen
Counting Crows
David Arkenstone
The Cars

however by default it sorts by

Agalloch
David Arkenstone
Blümchen
Armin Van Buuren
The Cars
Counting Crows

and I can’t seem to find a way to change this sorting. My music library is a decent size so changing each occurrence of this could take some time (444 artists). If there is a ID3 tag that Plex reads for Sort Artist then I could just dump all the album artist tags into that and I don’t think it would be an issue as I don’t use this otherwise.

Plex does read the ‘Artist Sort’ meta tag.
If your artists are sorted like you’ve shown above, it means that at least a few of your files have these Artist Sort tags filled with Last, First
(Unfortunately, this is the default in Musicbrainz Picard)

Change the ‘Artist Sort’ meta tag in all affected files to your preferred sorting order, then Refresh Metadata on the Artists.

Or edit the affected Artists directly within Plex. The Sorting field is exposed directly on the ‘General’ tab .
