I dont want to disable the feature but theres plenty of things I could care less to see and dont want to see. Is there a plugin or way to block certain things off the server so I can see what I want to see and not get alot of useless stuff crammed down me?
plugins are deprecated, no there isnât any plugin that does that, nor will there likely to be one.
aside from all that, you are gonna have to explain and/or provide more details of what exactly you are talking about or trying to accomplish.
if you are talking about plex web shows/news/podcasts, you can disable them in your plex account.
if you are talking about some other online sources, then plex does not use any other online sources, other than for metadata, so your entire question doesnât make any sense.
Im talking about the webshows, news and podcasts. Theres only a couple of them I want to see and alot I really dont want to see. Id love to be able to watch what I want and not whats being forced to see. Theres a lot of âsourcesâ of content I dont agree with at all.
ah I see.
as far as I know, there isnât anything like that.
I donât use those services, so canât really say.
I would suggest you might create a new thread in the feature requests section, requesting some way to block or filter specific shows/news/podcasts.
In Podcasts and Web Shows, you can add items that you want to âMy Podcasts/Webshows.â

Then select the âMy Podcasts/Webshowsâ tab.
Assuming the âRemember selected tabâ option is enabled in your settings, Plex will always land on the âMy Podcastsâ tab when you go to Podcasts, and all youâll see are the ones you chose.
Why thatâs not available in News, I donât know.
