Long story short, I lost an entire directory of TV series due to a glitch unrelated to Plex. I’ll have to rebuild from scratch, which is the risk I knowingly took not having a backup. I have PMS shut down for the time being. What I want to know is if there’s a way I can access a list of the shows that were there without PMS running. (I’m aware of ExportTools, but of course that requires PMS to be running.) My concern is that as soon as I fire up PMS, it’s going to scan the library, see the shows aren’t there anymore and wipe the slate clean before I can get the list of exactly what used to be there so I can start rebuilding.
If there’s a way to ensure that PMS doesn’t wipe out that library when I fire it up, that would be good enough. Thanks in advance.
