Hey there. I have two tabs in my car which have Plex. They are connected to the server at home. The problem is they turn off when the car is off, so the tabs are often restarted. I have two sets of movies on the server, 4k and 720p films. Is it not possible for Plex to launch on the 720p films section instead of the ‘homescreen’? When closing and reopening the app, it’s fine. The problem arises when the tab is restarted and Plex is relaunched.

It took me a minute to understand “tab” as “Galaxy Tab” tablets.
A specific Library can’t be made to automatically open on launch. But there are a few things that might do what you want.
Are the 4k and 720p films in different Libraries? It might be sufficient to unpin the “4k” Library from the Tabs.
You could create a Managed Account (or another full Plex.tv Account) and share only the 720p Library with it.
(That’s also useful if it’s a minivan full of kids and you want to exclude R-rated content.)
There is also the option to control what is recommended on the main account’s Home Screen vs. what is presented to Shared Users.
