Any way to set what audio music is transcoded to?

I know this questions might have been asked before, but I haven’t seen any response yet. Amoung other systems, I use Sonos for playback. Sonos supports up to 24/48 playback, but Plex insists on transcoding anything over 16/44 to lossy AAC.

Is there any setting yet that will allow me to specify a transcode target (FLAC 24/48) for those files I have that are over 16/44 or at least allow my 24/48 files to play directly? I know Plex can transcode to FLAC because I often see the DTS audio of video files being transcoded to FLAC.

To be clear, I understand that this doesn’t matter for the Sonos speakers I have around since they will not reveal much past the lossy AAC files. However, I do have a Sonos Port connected to a McIntosh processor. In that case, I can definitely tell 256 AAC from 16/44 and higher.
