Anyone else having issues with PMS transcoder crashing when system is processing a MPEG2 source?

Running PMS on dedicated machine with Windows 10 Pro
Intel i7-7700T processor at 2.90 GHz
8GB of RAM

Transcoder randomly spikes CPU utilization to 95%+ on some MPEG2 videos and not at all on others. This is mostly in reference to the DVR I have set up via HDHomeRun Prime.

PC can definitely handle transcoding as a whole. I have movies that are 14GB+ using h.265 and need to be transcoded on nearly every device I stream to.

Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.

empty file - Plex Media Server.log

Is it crashing ? or is it spiking to 95% CPU? or both ?

Try first to re-analyze the media
See

May need clip of the file giving the problem to reproduce the issue (say 5 minute clip?)
and logs and media info xml

for media info xml - see https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201998867-Investigate-Media-Information-and-Formats

Uninstall and re-install of PMS appears to have resolved so far. Will continue to test and verify.

Issue is not resolved. Still experiencing same issue. I’ve wiped everything Plex related from the PC and started from scratch. I even wiped my router to verify it wasn’t anything on the network. This makes no sense at all. It streams fine from the HDHOMERUN app, but as soon as I involve Plex, issues come up. I can’t imagine I’m the only one experiencing this.
