Found this caster plugin for PMS which enables users to launch application on PMS.
In theory, it should be able to launch an stop, update, restart script on PMS via a Client.
Has anyone tried this?

I have been curious on being able to update plexconnect via the aTV. I was curious on how brotuser was able to purge the fanartcache from plexconnect. I can use the jailbroken web browser on iOS 5.3 aTV2 to update plexconnect and use webconnect to execute scripts but I would like to use another method to use webconnect since there is no web browser/jailbroken method on aTV3. Since this only works with PMS scripts I'm not sure how it would help since I need to execute scripts on OSX itself. I haven't made a PMS .bundle before but I will look into it and see if I can come up with something. I don't see how you could stop plexconnect then perform other scripts since it wouldn't be running at that point though. If it was possible it would only work with OSX unfortunately unless it was ported to other OS's. Either way a interesting idea that has been on my mind for quite some time on how to run scripts from the aTV. I do have a auto update script also the checks for updates ever 6 hours then updates when a update is detected that seems to do the job for the time being for me at least.
