What’s the best way to capture the logs and send them to you? The server won’t stay running for much more than a few seconds, so I can’t do much through the web interface. Also - if this needs to be moved to another thread to keep this on topic, I can/will do that.
I can see in the logs that a number of crash dumps have been uploaded … somewhere. Are you able to view those?
Like I said, the server won’t stay running long enough to do anything in the web interface. The main process crashes out leaving some orphaned plug-in processes behind.
@ChuckPa im having the same issue aswell, i did a reinstall of my plex server and changed the name of the server. Can you or someone else reset my certificate aswell?
Server Version#: 1.22.3.4523
Player Version#: 4.58.1 (web player)
I just installed a new copy of plex on a fresh ubuntu 20.04 server. I have been unable to access my server via app.plex.tv due to being unable to establish secure connection. I know believe it might be due to not having proper certificates. In the console I was able to spot the following several times:
CERT: Error acquiring new certificate: Failed to upload CSR: 429, <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
@ChuckPa
The certificate reset you did for me before has been working perfectly for 3 weeks but today I’m back to getting the same error as before:
ERROR - CERT: Error acquiring new certificate: Failed to upload CSR: 429, <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
Nothing has changed on my end. Is there anything else I should have done after the reset other than just restarting the server? I am just updating to the latest available version (1.23.2.4625).
Also I am still able to access the server through the apps (android and windows) but not through the webapp.
