App not closing properly Onn Roku TV

My Plex app on my Onn Roku TV is exhibiting an odd behavior.

If my Roku TV goes to sleep or I turn it off or I back out of the app with Back or Home the Plex app will not allow me to properly select the left most options when entering the application again.

Some selections work but I cannot navigate the left most menus properly to browse servers or actually Exit the application.

The only things that seems to resolve this is that I have to remember every single time I use Plex to hit Back until I have the ability to hit Exit in the Plex app.

Or restarting the entire TV fixes it as well.

I have uninstalled & reinstalled. I have updated the Plex app. I have updated the TV itself. I’ve even gone so far as to reset the entire TV.

None seem to have an impact.

I have experienced the same issue on my Roku 3rd Gen (Model 4200X). The only way to be able to access the menu area is to restart my Roku device.

I am not having this issue on our Roku Ultra.

An experiment for you to try friend.

Watch something on Plex then instead of pressing home.

Press Back until the option comes up to Exit the app.

Then see if it alleviates that issue.

It seems perhaps the app is not shutting down cleanly on Roku maybe.

Hopefully we can get some dev attention #KeepDriveAlive
