App.plex.tv forcing unsecure connection despite my efforts not too?

Player Version#: Version 3.93.1

Hello! So for whatever reason, https://app.plex.tv/desktop always redirects me to http://app.plex.tv/desktop?secure=0

How would I fix this? I want secure only!

Settings - Server - Network set to?

Modify the URL to http://app.plex.tv/desktop?secure=1

So I tried doing this, and then got this error:

“Unable to connect to “SERVERNAME” securely.”

However, other clients can connect securely…

Also, https://SERVERIP:32400/web/index.html#

works on secure just fine… not sure if this helps or not, just trying to provide as much info as possible.

Are you using some kind of reverse proxy or a custom security certificate?

I am using a reverse proxy service on the server but I also have the port forwarded.

There is no fix.

Either you use https://serverip:32400/web
Or get rid of the unnecessary reverse proxy.
