This was working and now refuses to connect securely, I’ve tried changingf the settings from preferred to disabled and from never to on same network
However the app is able to connect as are the fire stick and roku.
https://app.plex.tv will only connect to server that has secure connections set to Enabled or Preferred. Looking at your account it appears your server is set to disabled. if you are at home on same network as server you should be able to connect to it at http://LocalServerIP:32400/web where LocalServerIP is the IP address of your server computer
The Fire TV and Roku can connect to an insecure server if they are set to always or on the same network.
Hi, it was set to disabled, that just happened to be where I left it, it dones not work with it set to preferred either.
Remote access says its working complete with green tick but doesn’t,
LocalserverIP works.
This was all working 2 days ago
Can you leave the setting on preferred and reboot your computer. Then if still not working grab your server logs.
