I moved my Plex server instance over to new hardware last night and am getting this error message when trying to access my server and content remotely. From what I can tell, all my settings are correct.
One thing I have noticed is that a ca.crt file and certificate.p12 file do not exist in the cache folder on the new server, but did on the old one. I can move the cert files over to the new server and restart Plex and be able to hit the server via https:// via the IP address:port, but get a certificate error because the name doesn’t match. In any case when I check the logs of the remote player, the hostname it’s trying to reach is different than the certs for the old server anyway, so it wouldn’t work anyway.
Is there anyway to force Plex to reach out and regenerate the certs?
