App.plex.tv is unable to connect to "servername" securely, no device can connect to server

Plex Android 8.20.1.26670

Starting last night I can no longer play anything from my plex server on any device, internal or external to my network. in the plex web app it says App.plex.tv is unable to connect to “servername” securely even when opening this on the windows device as the server is on. On the Android device it says “There was an error navigating to the specified item. Please make sure you are connected to the internet and try again” Device is on the same network with same network address range.

Been happily using Plex for years now and am a bit worried as we will be taking a road trip soon.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
