App.plex.tv is unable to connect to "SHIELD Android TV" securely

Hi all,
I moved to a new house and changed my ISP for BT broadband in the UK.
Since then I have been unable to access PMS running from my shield with the error below:
app.plex.tv is unable to connect to “SHIELD Android TV” securely

This error is provided from the web interface with a browser running on the same LAN than the Shield. The Shield client cannot access the server either with the error below:
SHIELD Android TV is currently unavailable

Reading the article “secure server article” did not provide much help and I am quite confused with what could be wrong in my setup.
I have tried to to uninstall both Plex client and PMS and reinstall everything without any success.

I am attaching PMS logs to this thread.
There a a few exceptions but they don’t make much sense to me.
Could someone please help?

Those are logs from the Android TV player app not the server. There is info here on how to get the logs from server on shield. https://support.plex.tv/articles/220347688-accessing-shield-storage/

Thank you BigWheel, did not realise these were not the correct logs.
I have attached the right ones.

No, I have not been able to use Plex since I moved.

@TedKWoB Those looks like they are just the logs from the plugin subfolder. There should be a Plex Media Server.log ( 6 of them actually) in the logs folder

@Syrcam sorry haven’t figured this out yet. still looking. Do you have more than one Sheild server listed at https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/devices/pms

@BigWheel , yes I did have more than one shiel server listed as I tried multiple time to create it.
I have just done the following to try again “from a fresh install”:
-Uninstall Plex client and Server from the shield
-Remove the \internal\Plex Media Server from the shield
-Reinstall Plex client and Server on the Shield

Unfortunately, I get the same issue as before.

I also tried to install PMS from my Windows on the same network and it does work without any security error. Something has to be wrong with the Shield but I don’t know what…

how is your network set up? modems routers etc

looks like shield is connected to wifi at LAN IP 192.168.1.73 is that correct? if you go to http://192.168.1.73:32400/web does it connect at all?

@BigWheel Thank you, issue is now fixed.
I don’t understand why but once I went through the direct URL you provided and answered a few questions about PMS customisation and it all started to work again, even through app.plex.tv.

Same issue here… All secure connections don’t work. Need to claim the server everyday. :expressionless:

@blackzwe looks like you were getting ratelimited for getting a new cert. I reset your cert and you may have to restart your shield

Thanks @BigWheel , incessant power cuts after my back up power gave out this week, had to rebuild the server.
