I don’t know what happened but some recordings won’t even Play. Set to remux only and doing more recordings to test.
I can now confirm after a couple of days recording different channels and options that the only combination that works for me is set DVR to Remux only and “Not Encode” and playback is good although fast moving sport a bit more motion blur than on Windows Media Center same program. I get no thumbnail generation on H264 or MPEG2 Channels, I did before and think it was with Transcode on with some recordings even days later. I am not seeing thumbnails for anything now. Anyone know how to get thumbnails or will I have to transcode using MCEBuddy or is it a bug? I know a bug was mentioned for main release of Plex Windows and the fix was upgrade latest release not sure if Beta 3 is fixed or not.
Some H264 recordings won’t playback on Apple TV 4 but play fine on Windows I will keep working on a collection of recordings and see what is different and post an update. All MPEG2 Recordings to date work fine on both.
Perhaps try setting all of the Plex app settings on your ATV back to default. Audio is the one thing I haven’t ever had a problem with on my ATV with DVR content.
There’s issues all seem fixed for some time. No stuttering now.
